How David Met Chris 3
We had fun with this one. A little more history now: David was recruited and joined the ranks of the proud and the perpetually needing help: The Lylat System.
What is Falco doing there? These events only take place, like, 2 years ago? You mean he’s a raw recruit? Isn’t he part of Team Star Fox, the team that Dave is being taught to send distress calls to?
Yeah. Look at the ribbons on his uniform. I bet he’s just back on an extension class or something. Maybe a “Defensive Flying” class for a speeding ticket or something.
I’m glad the “70′s Photograph” filter worked out after we reduced the colors. Last stage of memory was sepia tone, this stage faded color. Took a long time to do that.
The Cornerian Space Fleet logo was a bit of work. We got most of it done… but I didn’t want to draw that wreath of leaves around it. So I went to Brands Of The World, downloaded the logo for the UN, and borrowed the wreathes. Insta-seal! I’m pretty sure the UN logo is public-domain government type stuff.

FLASHBACK!
David (much younger) is standing in the Lylat Recruitment Office. "I couldn't figure out the clothing iron... my shirt was so wrinkley... Even so, I was accepted, given an uniform, and sent to the Lylat Academy!"
The younger looking David gets a shove from behind. A large blue falcon (Falco from Team Star Fox) is pushing him along the path to a large building set near a cliff. The building has the logo of the Cornerian Space Force on it. The large blue falcon gives another shove. "Are you DEAF?!?" he asks. "We're going to be late for class!"
David continues. "I spent 6 months training there..."
As Falco and David enter the classroom, they see none other than General Pepper leading the class (Cannonfodder 101: Calling Star Fox for Help). "'Bout time you showed up!" shouts Pepper as he points to the new students.
