Teaser Images
The old site design had a slot available for a Teaser Image. It was a little image that “teased” this week’s update on all pages of the site, with a link to the most current page.
It took quite a bit of effort to find frames that fit into the little square, didn’t have too much dialog to erase, and did a good job of teasing the comic.
When we looked to redesign the site, we discovered that rarely was that link ever actually clicked! All that hard work for naught! Sit disappeared to give us more room for header sprites. Not to mention it would be that much more work for anyone who decided to localize Missing Number.
SO that the hard work isn’t for naught, however, we present the Teaser Images in their full glory:
Special Teaser
Like the MissingNo routine in Pokemon, this “teaser” was the failsafe teaser if the system couldn’t find a teaser, or if we posted a comic without specifying one. Sometimes we just had to do it to get online in time.
Real Teasers
Yep! We forgot to increment the issue number for I’m Just A Bill 2! And we never had a teaser image for “Virus Alert“, as it wasn’t a “real” update.
