Day Of Reckoning I
Well, we survived the thunderstorm.
Our first two-parter. (Not counting the first two comics, which were uploaded concurrently.) We are expanding a bit on our universe. We see the landlord, Tom Nook, and his bodyguard and secretary (the male and female characters from Animal Crossing, respectively. Apparently they had problems paying their rent, and have taken up employment with Nook himself).
Our inker referred to Tom Nook as “Nookler,” and the name has kinda stuck internally.

Speaking of which, due to changes in The Real Life (both the penciler and colorist are changing jobs), we have decided to change the official update day to SATURDAY, 9PM. This will give us a day to finish up anything we had problems getting completed due to work schedules.

There was a ominous knock on the door.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
David opened the door and looked out. “Hello? Oh, Hi, Mr. Nook! Won’t you come in?”
In came the landlord, Tom Nook, along with his bodyguard and secretary. His bodyguard started rubbing his knuckles together. “We’re here to… ‘Remind’ you about the rent. DUE TODAY.”
David walked up and handed Tom Nook a bag of money. “Here!” he said.
Tom Nook weighed the bag in his hand. “You’re 500 Pokedollars short.”
Link walked around the corner and witnessed the paying of the rent. Chris shrugged his shoulders. “We’ll have it to you tomorrow morning. The bank was closed, see, and…”
Nook shook his head whilst Link ran out of the room with a smile on his face. “Perhaps you need a reminder,” said Nook, reaching into his coat pocket, “of our rental agreement?”
