Vulpix Come Home 2
Despite computer issues, we were able to recover the comic and get-’er-dun, as the locals might say.
For some reason, I think Vulpix doesn’t like Dave. Hmm.
Along with the computer confuzulation, Dave (our colorist) got his new job, and he (along with the sketch-est) has started a new commuting arrangement that should realize much fuel savings.
Due to the scheduling conflicts this has created, the comic is now up today. We’re hard at work on next week’s comic, and will see you then.
Quench our thirst so we can make more comics! ($2.50 for a 6-pack, $5 for a 12)View Transcript
David walks through the living room, waving at Chris who is sitting on the couch reading a strategy guide. “I’m off to take care of Ashley’s Vulpix!” states David.
Chris doesn’t even look up. “Hmm.. K.”
David crosses the hall and opens up the door to Ashley’s apartment. “OK,” he says to himself. “So… what did Ashley tell me I had to do?”
Going into the kitchen, he opens up the tap and fills up Vulpix’s bowl. “FRESH WATER… Check!”
He dumps some Brock Brand Pokemon Food into a bowl. “POKEMON FOOD… Check!”
He then spreads out some fresh sheets of newspaper on the floor (the page is emblazoned with the headline “Emperor Ken Retires!” with a picture of Ken’s face next to the PS3 logo). “CLEAN NEWSPAPER… Check!”
He stands up from his work and dusts off his hands. “Whew! All done. Now… to escape.” He turns around and heads to the front door…
…only to come face to face with Vulpix. “Er, hello?” starts David.
Vulpix gives David an award winning glare.
Meanwhile, back in the boys’ apartment, Chris is still gazing through his strategy guide. Suddenly, he hears: “VULPIX!” followed shortly with a flame-broiled “AAAARGH!!” from his best friend and roommate.
