Vulpix Come Home 3
We had some humorous obstacles to this comic. We got the whole thing done, committed, I was cleaning it up… then the colorist said “I forgot David’s burns!” He fixed that, submitted it, I was cleaning it up… “I forgot the words BURN HEAL on the bottle!” He fixed that, submitted it, I was cleaning it up… “I got the wall colors wrong!”
It was kinda funny.

David gets up from the couch (where he and Chris had been sitting watching TV) and walks to the front door. Chris jumps to his feet with his hands behind his back. “So… you goin’ to take care of Vulpix?”
David leans back to get a look at Chris. “Yah, then I have to go to the bank. Why?”
Chris reaches around and drops a small bottle into David’s hand. “Here!” The bottle has “Burn Heal” printed in large letters on the side.
“Thanks for the vote of confidence,” states David.
David goes over to Ashley’s apartment. Opening the door, David peeks around the edge. “Hello?” The coast is clear, no Vulpix in sight.
David rushes through his checklist. “POKEMON FOOD, FRESH WATER, NEWSPAPER! Check! Now I flee!” He rushes to the door, grabs the knob, and to his horror hears…
“Pix?” Vulpix stands there and look accusingly at David.
“Oh, no,” intones David just before Vupix unleashes her FLAMETHROWER! “VULPIX!”
That’s it. The last straw. David’s had it. “ARGH!” he yells, “STUPID FIRE FOX! I’m LATE!”
David slams the door in anger and runs out of the apartment building. The force of the slam, however, joggs the door just before the latch can catch and the door slowly creaks open. Vulpix wonders over to the door, looking out into the corridor. “Vulpix?”
