Vulpix Come Home 4

BANG! BANG! BANG! Somebody is banging away at the door of Apartment 47.

Chris opens up the door and looks out. “Hello?” he asks.

Suddenly, the door is slammed open as Ashley bursts into the room, crushing Chris behind the door. “DAVID! EEK! It’s terrible! I got home early from the convention, got into my apartment… ***VULPIX IS MISSING!***”

Chris peels himself from the wall and starts closing the door. “Ow. Erk, Come in, Ashley. Don’t worry… I’m sure Dave’s just, er, takin’ Vulpix out on a walk or…”

Suddenly, the door is slammed open as David bursts into the room, crushing Chris behind the door. “CHRIS! HELP! It’s terrible! I got home early from the bank, got into Ashley’s apartment… ***VULPIX IS MISSING!***”

Chris gets out from behind the door and closes it. He then points over to Ashley who has begun crying. “Nice, Dave. Get who ELSE got home early?”

David shrinks in shame. “Zubat droppings.”

Then he perks up, winks, and gives Ashley a thumbs-up. “Don’t worry, Ashley! We’ll all look for Vulpix tomorrow! I bet we find her in minutes!” He then closes his eyes and waves his hand dismissively. “Besides, Vulpix is smart. It’s not like she’s just going to walk right up to danger or anything!”

Meanwhile, in a dark alley in Irridecent City, Jessie and James (of Team Rocket) are having a discussion. Jessie isn’t getting her way, and she doesn’t like it, not one bit! James looks at her in a bit of a panic. “GO BACK TO THE BOSS!?! Jessie, we got KICKED OUT! AGAIN! I mean, we don’t even have a stolen Pokemon to give as a peace offering!”

As if on cue, Vulpix (Cold, sad, and scared) walks right up to James. “Pix?”
